General Dentistry

That’s anything but basic

If you’re new to the Denver area (welcome!) or are looking for a new dental experience unlike any other, you’ve come to the right place. When we say the word “general” we tend to think – common, average, basic. At Advanced Aesthetic Dentistry, we are proud to provide exceptional general dentistry services and patient care that’s anything but ordinary.

Oral Hygiene

Oral hygiene is the foundation of oral health. If you’ve ever been to see a dentist before, we’re sure you’ve heard it, “Have you been brushing and flossing regularly?” While it may feel like we’re beating a dead horse, it’s only because oral hygiene really is one of, if not the most important factor when it comes to oral health.

At Advanced Aesthetic Dentistry, our hygiene team is one of the best in Denver. We want you to walk out of your cleaning appointment with that supreme clean feeling, and a smile that sparkles. With a gentle hand and a hawk’s eye for detail, you can lay back and relax, knowing you’re getting a thorough deep clean, without the discomfort you may have experienced in other dental offices. Check out our Oral Hygiene page for more information!

Fluoride Treatment

Fluoride is the key player when it comes to preventing tooth decay. If a healthy diet, a good oral home care routine and regular visits with your Denver dentist are not enough to keep tooth decay at bay, we’re happy to offer fluoride treatment for any patient who needs a little help in the fight against tooth decay.

Cavity Prevention Therapy

Tooth decay is one of the most common chronic diseases in the world, second only to the common cold. If you are one of many who are especially prone to decay, we can come up with a cavity prevention therapy plan just for you. Your individual plan will likely include any number of our professional-grade products, as well as regular fluoride treatments and more frequent visits with your friendly hygienist.

Tooth-Colored Fillings

If you are of a certain age, you may still have remnants of unsightly metal fillings or other dental restorations that provide a glaring reminder every time you open your mouth. Thankfully, with advances in modern technology and materials, Advanced Aesthetic Dentistry can provide safe, durable, natural-looking fillings that restore teeth damaged by decay. Tooth colored fillings blend in seamlessly with your natural teeth; no one will ever know you’ve had a filling! Check out our Tooth Colored Fillings page for more information!

Gum Disease

Gum disease is one of the most common chronic diseases affecting American adults – over half of the population is walking around with some level of gum disease, and many are undiagnosed. While many patients think “Oh well, it’s just my gums” or “If almost everyone has it, it must not be a big deal,” the truth is, it is a big deal. Gum disease has serious consequences ranging from oral health – gum recession leads to tooth loss – to systemic health –  increased risk of heart attack, stroke, and diabetes. Don’t ignore bleeding gums, come see Dr. Paini before the problem progresses. Visit our Gum Disease page for more information.

Oral Cancer & HPV Screenings

Dr. Paini, your Denver dentist is in a unique position to detect, diagnose, and prevent oral diseases like HPV and oral cancer. With your oral and overall health as our top priority, our team makes detailed notes of any changes in your mouth to better detect early signs of disease and decay, and ensure we catch any potential problems before they progress into something more serious.

Root Canals & Extractions

If you are suffering from an oral infection that has made its way into the tooth root, you may require a root canal or a tooth extraction for any number of reasons if your tooth is beyond the point of repair. Dr. Paini wants you to know that you don’t have to worry. Root canals and extractions have come a long way in recent years, and are standard procedures for us here at Advanced Aesthetic Dentistry. The colloquialisms “I’d rather have a root canal” and “like pulling teeth” will have lost all meaning.

Mouthguards & Sportsguards

A lot of patients don’t realize they can get custom mouthguards from their Denver dentist. If you’re a rough and tumble kind of guy, or gal, and need a mouthguard for sporting activities, don’t settle for store-bought mouthguards. A custom mouthguard is the best way to protect yourself. Maybe it’s not you that’s rough and tumble, but your jaw that puts your upper and lower teeth in a nightly fight to the death. A custom mouthguard will save your teeth from grinding or bruxism habits, and ease symptoms of TMJ/TMD.

Biomimetic Dentistry

Biomimetic dentistry uses hard tissue bonding to treat weak, fractured, or decayed teeth to keep them strong and seal out bacteria. Preventing infection with biomimetic dentistry removes the need for 60-90% of crowns and root canals. Tooth preservation and dental conservation, rather than restoration, are the primary goals of biomimetic dentistry.

Sensitivity Treatment

At Advanced Aesthetic Dentistry, we understand how difficult it can be to enjoy your life with sensitive teeth. Hot coffee or tea is a no. Ice cream is a no. Anything even mildly hot or cold can cause pain and sensitivity for some patients. We offer a number of solutions and treatments to help patients with sensitive teeth, including improved oral hygiene and fluoride treatment, use of desensitizing products like toothpaste and topicals, as well as fillings and sealants. We want to help you enjoy your life again without having to suffer with tooth sensitivity.

Laser Bacterial Reduction

Advanced Aesthetic Dentistry is constantly striving to advance the standard of patient care in our office. One way we’re improving the oral health of our patients is by offering a new procedure that can be included in your regular professional teeth cleanings.

Introducing: Laser Bacterial Reduction!
The laser decontamination process is painless and takes about 5 minutes to complete. We highly recommend you take advantage of this procedure for the following reasons:

  • It kills the bacteria that cause gum disease. Gum disease affects approximately 80% of adults. It has been linked to over 52 diseases, including cardiovascular disease, diabetes, rheumatoid arthritis, and low birth weight in babies.
  • Prevention of cross contamination of infections in your mouth. When we decontaminate, we minimize the chance of inadvertently moving bacterial infection from one area of your mouth to another.
  • Reduction or elimination of bacteria. Most patients experience some bleeding during the professional teeth cleaning process, and that blood may carry bacteria (pathogens) from our mouth to other areas of our body. When this happens, our risk of the diseases linked to gum disease increases.
